Day 4 (Sat 14th Sept 2024) was the 4th day of walking along Hadrian's Wall, which saw us cover 16km from Brampton to Carlisle.
We firstly caught a cab back to Newtown where we finished the previous days walk, then set on our way. Not an exciting walk today, firstly it rained for the first 2 hours, and we covered lots of wet farmfields, but it was nice to walk into Carlisle - a population of 110,800, slightly under Ballarat.
A great dinner at a Greek restaurant tonight, being the last dinner with Martin & Robert, who will return home to Somerset.
