Day 2 (Thurs 12th Sept 2024) was the 2nd day of the Hadrian's Wall walk, which saw us cover 18.5km from Once Brewed to Greenhead. The photo above is everyone at Winshields, the halfway and highest part of the wall. A warmer day, with a couple of light hailstorm showers and a bit of rain, but nothing of substance to upset things too much. Ok, I might have gone a bit further to Gilsland as I missed an imporant turn, see the last 2 photos of my return. We ended at the Greenhead Hotel for dinner & accommodation.
