Day 7 (Tues 10th Sept 2024) was the 6th and last day of the St Oswalds Way walk, with a 28.0km walk from Rothbury to Knowesgate. The weather gods were very friendly giving us a cool, but bright sunny day, but with the km after km of roads beside forrests, we had to traverse a lot of green wet fields. No one had dry footware that night. OMG, did I mention the winds when we were on top of the mountains? Much care had to be taken.

Comments may have also been made that not all walkers fully completed this days walk, could have taken several 'shortcuts', and may have hidden in the forrest cannopy from pursuing walkers.

The final dinner photo was the last supper for Michael Leas as he finished his walking here, and headed back to London with father Trevor and Uncle Leslie.
