Each month our club's Social Committee organises a social function so that members can catch up outside of our normal club meetings.

On Friday 18th October, 2025 a walking progressive dinner was held in the CBD of Ballarat. Thirty four members and friends met at 6pm for welcome drinks in the function room at Grainery Lane, a one-of-a-kind saloon-style cocktail bar that brings back the glitz and glamour of the city’s goldrush era.

At 7.10pm members were divided into four groups and headed off on foot to Saigon Allee, Pancho, Eatsy Thai and The Forge Pizzeria for dinner and lots of chatting.

Following dinner all groups got back together at brewpub Aunty Jacks for a nightcap. A great night was enjoyed by all and thanks goes the Kay Macaulay and the social committee for organising the night.
