Peter Whitefield ... 1990-91

Thank you all for allowing me the special privilege and honour of being your Charter President.

The Vocational Committee ran a highly successful series of seminars on Epilepsy in the Workplace. This program gained the respect of all participants in the business community and has ensured our club is seen as a leader in this field.

The Community Service Committee raised $720 from the sale of 35 dozen Christmas Cakes and ran a Dutch auction for the Cancer Unit Appeal raising $1,517.

The committee's activities included arranging for students to attend the RYPEN Seminar in Hamilton, selected five students to the Australian Science Summer School, sent a busload of underprivileged children to Bendigo and assisted at the Bridal Expo at the School of Mines.

The International Committee organised a very successful World Peace Understanding Day and raised inconjuction with the Ballarat Children's Home, $2,342.

Fellowship activities included a film night, family breakfast with Aussie the Clown, an interclub BBQ with the Rotary Club of Knoxfield and bus trips to the Phantom of the Opera which raised over $800.
