We had a fantastic year with a great weekly program of interesting, educational and sometimes unusual speakers.

The club raised funds from roles with Central Highlands Football League, Red Hot Summer Tour, Springfest, Bunnings BBQ's, Beer Festival and Ballarat Swap Meet.

A team of members and friends went to Ambon armed with books, sporting equipment and clothes to improve the lives of the Ambonese people.

We continued to focus on sponsoring young people through RYLA and National Youth Science Forum as well as providing two Community Service awards to students from Loreto.

Recipients at our annual presentation night were a mix of local, regional and international causes. We donated around $30,000 on the night in addition to money that had been distributed during the year to Youth Projects and Multiple Sclerosis research.

Thank you for demonstrating what it means to put “Service Above Self” and change lives, it has been an absolute pleasure.
