There are many highlights for me as President during the year.

The first activity for the year was a House and Garden sale raising $2,531, half of the funds were donated to Relay for Life. 

The District Conference in March saw eight members of our Club take the road trip to Swan Hill.

We undertook many fundraising activites throughout the year including a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle raising $1,170.00, Relay for Life raising $4,742.40 for the Cancer Council of Victoria and a bbq at Nazareth House Fete.

We conducted our yearly Smoke Detector Battery Changeover service for Ballarat's aged and infirm and assisted with door knocking for the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal.

Club members also took part in the Blood Bank Challenge with other Rotary Clubs in Ballarat and our members gave a total of 106 blood donations.

This year we had two working bees at Nerrina Wetlands and it gratifying to reflect on how the wetlands looked when we started the project to now. Substantial progress has been made over the years.
