It has been a most satisfying year with regard to new members - we welcomed eleven new members to the club. During the year members gave us an insight into their lives and careers through Job Talks.
The seventh annual golf day was our main fundraiser for the year allowing us to donate $3,500 to Ballarat Hospice Care.
Members of the club participated in the NEIS Mentor Program in conjunction with BRACE. This earned the club considerable funds with 30 club members acting as mentors for selected new business people.
During the year the club sponsored students to attend the National Youth Science Forum, the Siemans Science Experience and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.
Our Exchange Student Hanako left to return home to Japan after spending 12 months with us.
The Pride of Workmanship award was expanded with the support of The Courier to allow us to reach and involve the broader community.
Socially, club members took part in many activities including a car trial, Great Western winery tour, Christmas party and theatre shows.
