Andrew Harman ... 2024-25

Our club completed a very successful year, one full of activity and accomplishment.

Personally, the highlights for me have been inducting ten new members into the club, the high level of engagement and participation in our weekly meetings,  a return to hosting an international student through Rotary Youth Exchange, a trip to Ambon in Indonesia to continue our service work in that community and leading a happy and cohesive club which made a positive contribution locally and internationally.

At the start of the year my priorities included keeping Rotary fun, expanding member understanding of the International aspect of Rotary and continuing to partner with local clubs to increase our local impact (BIG R projects).

Our club made a financial commitment to Community Care Centre Ballarat (CCCB), we volunteered at the Rotary Op Shop and CCCB and we provided 12 volunteers on the day of the Science & Engineering challenge.

Some of our activities in the last year included the Ballarat North Neighbourhood House gardening, conducting mock interviews for the Pheonix College students, dismantling a playground for repurposing and collecting litter on cleanup Australia Day.
