Strategic Planning Session 2

Our club is currently developing its five year Strategic Plan. At our meeting on Wednesday 6th May 2025, President Elect Danny Driscoll ran an interactive planning session seeking members input on the future direction of the club.

Members received sticky notes and wrote down their thoughts on what we do well, what we don't do so well, things we could stop and new ideas we could start. The sticky notes were grouped into the four areas and stuck on a whiteboard, the next step is to collate the responses into a summary sheet.

A small working group will then form to create the new strategic plan taking into account the feedback received and it be presented to the club at a future planning session.

A review of the previous five year Strategic Plan (2021–2025) at our meeting on 18th March, 2026 revealed that the club has largely achieved the expected benchmarks set across its four key goals - Increase Our Impact, Expand Our Reach, Enhance Member Engagement and Increase Our Ability to Adapt.

Following the planning session, Steve Macauley from our Public Image Committee presented the club's new merchandise range to members. Available through local business Impact Teamwear, our members will stand out in the community wearing our new club branded apparel.
