At our last meeting for 2023 we celebrated the hard work of our Club over the past 6 months and President Geoffrey recognised the dedication of some members with the presentation of a Paul Harris Fellow.
Kay & Garry received their Sapphire PHF pins for their exceptional work with fundraising over the past couple of years, especially with the introduction of our very successful Ballarat Gourmet Goodies Hampers and Goldfields Brewers Packs which raised approximately $11,000 this year and $10,000 in 2022.
Charter member Phillip was recognised with a Sapphire PHF for his consistent support and work for the Club behind the scenes, assisting the treasurer & public image committee and also up front and centre as our regular auctioneer and MC at events.
Long standing member and International Director Jennifer also recieved a Paul Harris Fellow recognition for her personal contributions to The Rotary Foundation.
The Rotary Foundation transforms public and member donations into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. Our Club has accessed many Foundation grants to support our work in Ambon Indonesia.
