Our guest speakers at our meeting on 3rd April 2024 were new members Katheryn Armstrong and John Harley. Both gave us wonderful presentations about their lives and the journeys that led them to joining our club.

John, has been a strong community leader across Victoria, travelling as a teacher. During his most recent post in Charlton he was instrumental in the development of the Charlton Park recreation reserve. John moved to Ballarat a couple of years ago and was keen to be involved with community service.

Katheryn told us of her journey as a 15 year old Rotary Youth Exchange student who travelled to USA and how that experience inspired to her give back to the community. Katheryn currently leads a very large team at Soverign Hill and lives in Ballarat with her young family.

We are blessed to have such amazing and generous new members in our club.
