On Friday 6th June '25, member Jan Ross hosted another wonderful Tripe Night Fundraiser for eight lucky people, which raised approx. $800 to support our work in Ambon. Jan exceeded all expectations along with her Italian neighbours, who cooked 2 different versions of this culinary delicacy.

Dinner guests including Harold, who hadn’t experienced this mainstream food before, returned plates to the kitchen without any leftovers. If the tripe wasn’t to die for then came Kay’s beautiful, panettone bread and butter pudding served with lashings of cream that made the meal complete.

The guest enjoyed a great night of camaraderie and great conversations and as a thank you gift to her guests, Jan presented all with a pot of Lemon Butter made from her kitchen.

Our sincere thanks go Jan, along with her helpers who made the night a wonderful success. Jan’s commitment to our Rotary club fundraising project for Ambon is truly admirable. Thanks to everyone.
