Christmas Fundraiser

On the 18th Dec '24, our club members enjoyed the final breakfast meeting for the year. Members first had a good laugh involved in a reverse regifting raffle of many and varied “treasures”.

The final 2024 meeting was also hijacked by our youth exchange student Harold Sapp to hold an auction of his Belgian chocolates to raise funds for RAM (Rotarians Against Malaria).

Our treasurer (and super auctioneer) Phillip helped raise over $1,000 from the very generous members of the club – thankyou to all who dug deep for the cause.

Merv Lincoln delivered a very poignant sermon based on Bing Crosby's "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas", which was thoughtfully changed to "I'm Dreaming of a Right Christmas" - that sure made everyone stop and think.

Rod pulled out all the stops to win the 'Best Dressed' at the final meeting.
