Trees Planted At Rotary Park
Ten Rotarians were kept busy at a working bee held at Rotary Centennial Park on Sunday 14th September, 2025.
One hundred and seventy trees were planted along with maintenance conducted on existing trees with lots of trimming and weeding.
Club members were excited to see the first flowers at the park from trees planted in previous years with the vision of creating a pollinator park starting to come to fruition.
Further works will include a walking track around the park and through the plantings leading to the viewing mound which overlooks the Mullawallah Wetlands.
Rotary Centennial Park, a project of the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast, is located on the corner of Remembrance Drive & Ballarat Link Road, Cardigan (opposite Lucas Town Centre).
