Rotary Park Mulch & Planting
All hands were on deck for a tree planting and mulch spreading working bee at Rotary Centennial Park on Sunday 19th October, 2025.
Twenty two people including Rotarians, two exchange students, children and people performing unpaid community work under the supervision of Community Correctional Services worked together to develop the park.
A lot was achieved with over 200 trees planted and a huge amount of mulch provided by the City of Ballarat was spread throughout the park.
A special shout out to our 'park champions' June Driscoll and David Sanders who have worked tirelessly to get the park off the ground and turn it into reality.
Rotary Centennial Park, a project of the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast, is located on the corner of Remembrance Drive & Ballarat Link Road, Cardigan (opposite Lucas Town Centre).
