Centennial Park Working Bee

While the sun did not shine at Rotary Centennial Park on Sunday July 27th 2025 for the club's working bee, the glow of friendship, comradery and co-operation was very visible.

Nineteen members and friends planted 240 plants on the Mullawallah Wetlands viewing mound, trimmed and tidied previous plantings while others prepared wire protection for plants struggling to develop in their plastic protectors.

The vision for the park is to develop a pollinator friendly space that becomes a haven for bees, butterflies, moths, birds etc. while doubling as a community breathing and walking area.

Rotary Centennial Park is located on the corner of Remembrance Drive and Ballarat Link Road, Cardigan (opposite Lucas Town Centre). Watch out for the date of our next planting and fun day as we make a difference for the future.
