Uniting for Good at Rotary’s International Convention. There’s nothing like an annual Rotary Convention to showcase the global impact of Rotary. This year’s convention in Taipei, Taiwan from 13-17th June 2026 was no exception.
Club members Andrew and Jessie Harman joined with 37,000 Rotarians and Rotaractors from around the world to participate in the four day program featuring engaging general sessions, topical breakouts and an array of lively social events. They also spent time in the House of Friendship visiting the more than 250 booths promoting Rotary projects, programs and purpose.
For Andrew and Jessie, the stand-out speaker at the convention was Pakistani female education activist and Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai. The best exhibitor was a virtual reality experience which took delegates to the frontline of Rotary’s fight against polio in Zambia, and the social highlight was catching up with friends old and new from around the Rotary world.
