Six of our 2023/24 Leadership Team members attended the Rotary District 9780 Assembly in Halls Gap at the end of April, together with our own Rotary International Director Jessie Harman for a fun day of learning and fellowship.

The day was a wonderful opportunity to gather with like minded leaders from across our District to learn and plan for a successful Rotary year 2023/24 and  of creating hope in the world.

Some of the key topics that were explored included

• Collaborating with other clubs and other community groups to achieve our goals.
• Connecting with each other and our communities
• Celebrating Rotary
• within our community 
• within our world
• the difference we make to each other
• Creating a local focus of Rotary Says No to Domestic and Family Violence
• Committing to being a member on our soon to be established Polio Plus Society to play our part in ridding the world of polio
