The Bridge Mall Market
Saturday 7th June '25 was the first Saturday of the month, so it was time for many club members to meet at the Bridge Mall to run another Market.
The weather didn't look too promissing to begin with, being only 6 degrees as stall holders began arriving from 7am, where we dutifully escorted them to their stall sites.
Power was connected, marquees errected and communal tables and chairs spread around by the setup team, while the traffic marshalls kept welcoming the stallholders in and showing them to their stalls.
From 9am, the public started to move in, rugged up to beat the chil and light rain, low numbers to start with, but a few patches of blue sky were seen and the weather then turned in the market's favour. The crowds kept coming and a great market was had.
Money raised is donated back to many worthy causes within the community - the Soup Bus for one.
