Centennial Park Working Bee

Spring has well and truly sprung in Rotary Centennial Park! On Wed 30th Sept 2026, nine members of our club resisted being blown away by strong winds and mowed, weeded, tidied and freed our trees which were jumping out of their tree guards.
It’s amazing to see how well everything is growing and it was a pleasure to see birds from the Mullawallah Wetlands wheeling overhead. We’ve come a long way from a paddock with no trees and continue building on this wonderful wild pollinator park.
Rotary Centennial Park, an ongoing project of the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast, is located on the corner of Remembrance Drive & Ballarat Link Road, Cardigan (opposite Lucas Town Centre).
All are welcome to visit the park and watch it progress over time.
