Robert Burns Evening

On Friday 31st Jan '25, a quiet week (with no meeting) came to life when members and guests celebrated all things Scottish at the Riddel’s home.

Stewart, Karen and the international committee provided a Scottish taste extravaganza of Neeps, Tatties, Haggis and Black Puddin followed by more traditional local fare – thankyou to all involved in the planning and execution of a wonderful gathering.

Before the meal we were treated to Stewart’s recital of Address to a Haggis. A Scottish tradition at any Burns Supper – a remembrance dinner to honour Robert Burns.
