Members Spread the Word on ShelterBox

A ShelterBox and its contents were on display at a Uniting Church Jumble Sale on October 17th 2009.

The display was staffed by club members who explained this vital Rotary humanitarian project to attendees. The aim of the display was two fold, to raise public awareness of the project and to accept donations to purchase a box. A third outcome was also important as our members interacted with each other building and strengthening personal ties and understanding.

Well done helpers, $134.95 was donated on the day and many sets of information taken away.
