Garage Sale & Sausage Sizzle Raises Almost $700

A small team of club members including Sue Lewis, Jan Ross, Vicki Fawcus, Judy Barnes and Kaye Macaulay organised a successful Garage Sale on Saturday 30th May, 2009. Held at Sue Lewis's home in Lake Gardens, many hundreds of buyers visited from 8am and items for sale included pots, plants, old tools, books, furniture, knick knacks, music cassettes, office fittings, camp stretchers and much much more.

A sausage sizzle run by club members provided breakfast for some and lunch for others.

A total of $692 was raised and funds will be used for Rotary projects. Despite light rain during the day was a success and good fellowship was enjoyed by all.
