V/Line Ballarat Triathlon BBQ
Managers of the inaugral V/Line Ballarat Triathlon sought the club's assistance in providing food and drink over the two event - 26th and 27th November, 2011.
A comprehensive roster of members braved wet chilly conditions to produce a profit of approx. $500.
The roof of our marque was raised just as twelve hours of steady rain rain set in. The BBQ trailer slipped, thankfully, in under the roof.
The rain took its toll on attendance numbers and competitors left the site in search of warn dry places immediately their events concluded.

However conditions did produce a record, rostered cook, Michael Scarlett, did not cook a single food item in two hours of his Saturday commitment. Are congratulations in order?
Sunday, 6.30am, saw four members arrive at the site in the grey silence of a misty morning. After being cheered by bacon and egg muffin, and coffee, business slowly picked up as the clouds and mist cleared resulting in a $500 profit. A welcome relief for the stressed June. Thanks everyone.
