Wine Auction 2011
While bidding for bottles of wine can be a serious business it also generates bottles of fun as bidders try to out fox opponents.
Spouses were seen in competion bidding, some found themself with a lot that was expected to go higher, while others breathed a sigh of relief as they were out bidded - 'phew saved'.
A hamper raffle (won by Rotarian Geoff Lee), lucky number spinning wheel (prizes were fresh seafood vouchers) added to the fun.
Proceeds from these competitions added to the financial success of the night.
The Men's Shed was the recipient of approx. $7,000. The Shed has 130 members and is situated at 730 Eureka Street Ballarat.

The money will provide a much needed roller door, tools and a defibrillator as many of the members are elderly.
