Past President Jane's 50th Birthday Bash A Fundraiser

Family, friends and Rotarians gathered on Saturday 16th July, 2011 for Past President Jane Auchettl's 50th birthday party.

The theme was country and western and there was a variety of ten gallon hats, jeans and colourful shirts to compliment the theme. Country dancing was the go for the night.
 
Jane’s friends put on some entertainment which brought out some previously unidentified talent of one Rotarian and gave everyone an insight into Jane’s early and current life.

The Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast Fund Raising Committee catered for the night. Vicki and her Committee were very grateful for the contributions of food by Rotarians who were not on the Committee.

A great night was had by all and it was another social occasion for the Club members to have some time together and celebrate Jane’s significant birthday.

In lieu on presents, Jane asked for donations for ShelterBox. As a result, Jane was able to supply Rotary with another two ShelterBoxes which will each be used to house a family of ten for up to three months in areas affected by a natural disaster.
