Hat Day At The Hotel

As the Wintery chill started to make its presence felt in Ballarat on the 20th May, 2011 fifteen members and friends of the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast met for a social evening at the crowded Red Lion Hotel – a popular venue for Friday night drinks after work.

But tonight was no ordinary night, for the members were wearing hats of all kinds, from sunhats to beanies and baseball caps, even a hat more suited to Flemington than the Red Lion Hotel was worn by one keen Rotarian!

Everyone enjoyed the social event whilst raising money for mental health research by making a donation toward Hat Day and just turning up and having fun.
