Sizzling Sausages Achieves a Handsome Profit

Patrons at Bunnings super store in Ballarat crowded around the BBQ tent as members cooked near 1000 sausages and 12kg's onions to raise funds to support Rotary projects both locally and internationally; ten dozen cans of soft drinks were also sold.  

The pressure was on during the lunch hours as members struggled to keep up with demand. The roster commenced at 8am and continued until 5pm when the clean up was complete. It was resolved to forward another application to Bunnings because the day was so successful.

The profit on the day was $1700.00, thank you all who had time on the day to support the project.

Raffle tickets were also sold during the morning in support of the club's ticket selling effort in what is known as the Rotary Car Raffle.
