To be in a position to run various community projects, it is necessary for members of the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast to raise funds by running fundraising activities throughout the year.

Some of our club's activities are listed below.

Bulb Sales for ShelterBox

The Rotary Foundation/International Committee has launched a bulb sale to raise funds to purchase a ShelterBox. This target  will be achieved if each member sells $70 worth of produce. The club receives 45% of all sales.

Return you order form by March 24th  2010 so delivery can coincide with planting time. Bulbs are excellent  for drought proofing your garden, a little rain over winter will see them burst into colour during spring before the hot drying conditions of summer.

Rotary Club Wine Auction Supports Fire Brigades

The Rotary Clubs of Wendouree Breakfast and Ballarat West combined to conduct a monster wine auction at the new Ballarat Golf Club on Tuesday 24th November, 2009.

 Near 1000 Sausages Sold at Bunnings BBQ

Christmas shopping patrons at Bunnings proved to be an advantage for our sale of sausages and drinks on December 6th. Crowds gathered around as members scrambled to keep up with demand.

Disguised Club Members Successful Ticket Sellers

Club members donned fancy costume for a raffle ticket selling event at a Bray Raceway trotting event on November 17th 2009. Seventeen books were sold amid laughter, banter and friendship.

Garage Sale & Sausage Sizzle Raises Almost $700

Club members cleaned out their cupboards and sheds to donate items for our Garage Sale which was held on Saturday 30th May, 2009 at Rotarian Sue Lewis's home.

In conjunction with the Ballarat Turf Club, the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast conducted a Family Fun/Outdoor Movie night at the Ballarat Racecourse on Friday 20th March 2009.

Our Rotary Club participated in fundraising by being food tasters at McCain Foods (Aust) Pty Ltd between 9th October and 13th November, 2008 and raised $2,754.00.
