To be in a position to run various community projects, it is necessary for members of the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast to raise funds by running fundraising activities throughout the year.

Members, Family and Friends Eat Parmas for Polio
May 31st 2010 saw forty-eight Rotarians, family and friends select a chicken parmagiana from the menu at The Golf House Hotel. The hotel offers a special for clubs raising funds, the two course meal costs $20, then the hotel donates $10 per meal back to the club. The cheque for $480 dollars will deliver nearly one thousand doses of polio sabin.

Turning Sausages Into Cash
Since the beginning of 2010 three BBQ's have turned sausages into cash. Australia Day, Begonia Festival and at Dahlsens Building Centre. Members have willingly filled the rosters to deliver perfectly cooked produce and ice chilled drinks. Varying weather conditons force organisers to scientifically guess the required quantities - sometimes with amazing accuracy.

Disguised Club Members Successful Ticket Sellers
Club members donned fancy costume for a raffle ticket selling event at a Bray Raceway trotting event on November 17th 2009. Seventeen books were sold amid laughter, banter and friendship.

Garage Sale & Sausage Sizzle Raises Almost $700
Club members cleaned out their cupboards and sheds to donate items for our Garage Sale which was held on Saturday 30th May, 2009 at Rotarian Sue Lewis's home.

Flicks At The Forest
In conjunction with the Ballarat Turf Club, the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast conducted a Family Fun/Outdoor Movie night at the Ballarat Racecourse on Friday 20th March 2009.
