Wendouree Breakfast Wins 2008 Blood Bank Challenge

The 2008 Blood Bank Challenge was won by the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast scoring the club a hatrick being winners of the challenge in 2006, 2007 and now 2008.

This year the challenge took place between 12th September and 12th December, 2008 and club members and friends made a total of 33 blood donations to take out the perpetual shield.

A total of 114 blood donations were made by the participating Group 8 Rotary Clubs. The number of blood donations per club are listed below.

There are presently ideas to expand the Challenge by promoting Blood donation among the younger people in our community.
