2012 Swap Meet Update

The  Ballarat Rotary Swap Meet is only five weeks away with jobs to complete and volunteer positions to fill. This message was bought to the club members of the executive committee who visited the club on January 18th, 2012.

Two thousand one hundred sites have been sold which will see some 4000 plus swappers on site for the weekend.

These site holders will move in on Friday 25th February followed by the public searching for that magic piece - it is anticipated that 20,000+ patrons will stream through the gate from 6am on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th. February 2012.

Volunteers are sought to fill many roles from marking out the site, sourcing equipment, staffing information, head quarters, gates, parking, distribution, catering, garbage management and financial management.

All Rotarians are encouraged to volunteer along with their family and friends - there will a place for everyone.
