Rotary is a world wide network of around 1.2 million inspired individuals who translate their passions into relevant social causes to change lives and communities. The Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast has members who are passionate and dedicated to supporting local and international projects. Our Club provides opportunities for business networking, personal development and a range of fun social activities.
The Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast meets every Wednesday at 7.15am to 8.30am at Lederman Hall, Ballarat Health Services, Ascot Street South, Ballarat. Visitors are most welcome and can contact the Club via the “Contact Us” tab. To check out our activities, please browse the website. We invite you to come along and meet us. You will find we are a strong, vibrant Club working within your community.

Leadership Potential Despite Adversity
Cedrick Kimemyi from Kenya and Brenda Ludbrook from Ballarat Grammar School told Cedrick's story from Rwanda's genicidal wars to a gap year in Ballarat. On 1st February, 2012 Cedrick talked about his past and wishes for the future.

Rotary Swap Meet 2012 Update from Executives
Members of the Executive Committee for the first Ballarat Rotary Swap Meet visited the club on January 18th, 2012. Andrew Rowan, Charles Kennedy, Frank Contronea and Lindsay Florence spoke about the tasks aleady completed and the many jobs not yet completed.

V/Line Ballarat Triathlon BBQ
Managers of the inaugral V/Line Ballarat Triathlon sought the club's assistance in providing food and drink over the two event - 26th and 27th November, 2011. A comprehensive roster of members braved wet chilly conditions to produce a profit of approx. $500.

Challenging a Perception, The Courier's Changing Face
Angela Carey, General Manager of 'The Courier' challenged the perception that newspapers are a dying art in her presentation to the club on November 30th, 2011. "The world is changing, so are newspapers," was the concept reinterated by Angela throughout her talk.

Peter Jacobs Employability Award 2011
Franck Laba Kohler has been selected as the winner of the Peter Jacobs Employability Award 2011. Franck arrived here nearly four years ago as a Humanitarian Refugee, with no English. Franck is now in his second month of full time employment as a welder at Maxitrans.

Fun In A Bottle - Wine Auction 2011
A Men's Shed is this years recipient of the proceeds of the annual wine auction. Held at the Ballarat Golf Club on November 8th, 2011 the auction is a joint project between the Rotary Clubs of Wendouree Breakfast and Ballarat West.

Paul Harris Fellow with Sapphire
Club Member Trevor Lea has been bestowed with a Paul Harris Fellow for his contribution to the Rotary Foundation. The award was presented to Trevor by President of the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast, Kay Macaulay on the 16th November, 2011.

The Rotary Foundation – Our Rotary Legacy
Guest speaker at our club on Wednesday 9th November, 2011 was Past President Russel Dale, Chairman District 9780 Paul Harris Society. Russel spoke about the work of The Rotary Foundation.
