Trivia Night 3rd April 2009

Members of the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast attended a Trivia Night on 3rd April, 2009 run by the Rotary Club of Ballarat East. The theme of the Trivia Night was Music & Classic Television Shows and it was held at the Wendouree Football Club. Nineteen members of our club including partners and friends filled two tables and joined in the fun.

One of our club's tables managed to take out the winning prize for the night winning a hamper of goodies. Sitting on the winning table were Kay Macaulay, Robert McDougall, John & Sharon Ruyg, Dianne & Bruce Gow, Jennifer Hudson, Judy Barnes, Vicki Fawcus and Vicki Coltman. Others who also attended were Jim Nugent, Keith & June Driscoll, Andrew & Jessie Harman, Bruce & Anna Norman and Phillip Lee.

The quizmaster for the evening was Ballarat East Rotarian Steve Ellis, who kept an eagle eye on the use of mobile phones and iPods. Answers were for sale for a small price to boost fundraising and along with guest singers there was a sporting memorabilia auction conducted by Wendouree Breakfast Rotarian Phillip Lee.

A great night was enjoyed by all and funds raised are to be used by the Rotary Club of Ballarat East for the promotion of Youth Exchange and funding the ShelterBox project.
