Club Member Allan Murphy To Speak On Reducing Alcohol Related Harm In The Community

Allan is Health Promotion Manager at the Australian Drug Foundation where he manages the development of community programs aimed at reducing alcohol related harm.

Before joining the Australian Drug Foundation, Allan was the Health Promotion Team Manager at Ballarat Community Health for 4 years after 13 years working at the Uni of Ballarat.

Allan is particularly interested in community health and in his current role works with community partners to improve health opportunities through sports clubs. This work is currently focused on alcohol, tobacco, mental health and healthy eating.

The Australian Drug Foundation run a number of successful programs that are helping to raise awareness of the issues around alcohol and other drug problems, and reduce harm in our communities.
