Topic - Dying with Dignity Victoria

It is anticipated that a Bill will be brought before the Victorian Legislative Assembly later this year which will allow individuals, who are dying and whose suffering cannot be alleviated, to receive terminal medication.
Approximately 5% of dying patients want changes to be made to enable them to make decisions about their fate.
Ken and Jacki are representatives of the Ballarat Group ‘Dying with Dignity’ and will outline current developments and the assistance needed to obtain the passage of this legislation.
