Jessie Harman Recognised As A Paul Harris Fellow

Outgoing President June Driscoll presented Jessie Harman with a Paul Harris Fellowship in recognition of her contribution to Rotary at the club's annual changeover held on 5th July, 2009. All Paul Harris Fellows in attendance were invited to the come forward for the presentation.

Since joining our club in 1998 Jessie’s contribution and commitment to our club includes:-

• Youth Exchange host parent
• Organizational and participation roles on service and fundraising projects
• Bulletin editor
• Secretary 2002-03
• President 2004-05
Chair of District 9780 Conference 2008-09
Assistant Governor for Membership Development
And now, District Governor Elect

While these all indicate the depth of dedication that Jessie has for Rotary she has also made other valuable contributions to our club – actions that do not get recorded on the official data base. We have enjoyed Christmas parties and new members nights in her home, her catering - very good salads, her skills at procuring small item funding and of course James, the first baby to be born to member mum. A truly all round committed Rotarian. Congratulations Jessie.
