Beanie Kid Photo Competition Winners Announced

As President of the Rotary Club Of Wendouree Breakfast I decided to introduce a competition to encourage some competitive fun between members. Members were encourage to take one of our three beanie kids, T'Bone, Aussie and Chuckles, and take a photo of them in interesting and unusual locations, whether on holidays, at work or in fact anywhere. Chuckles proved to be the most popular as he was booked weeks in advance.

The competition was run over 10 months and the winners of the various categories were announced at our club meeting on Wednesday 27th May, 2009. Special guest judges were Kevin & Joan Williams from Williams Studios (Joan is a past member of our club).

The winners were: Professional Choice - 1. Dianne Gow, 2. Sue Lewis and Judy Barnes, Members Popular Vote - Barry Auchettl and President’s Choice - Phillip Lee

Thank you to all the club members that participated. And the kids also say thanks for taking them around the world, to New York, Paris (cheeky kid), Dubai, the Ballarat Secondary School sports, hiking in England, surfing in Torquay, to family events and especially to visit their own kind.
