Rotary Clubs To Run Ballarat Swap Meet In 2012

Ballarat is to get it's annual swap meet back with the City of Ballarat announcing that Ballarat's combined Rotary Clubs have been selected to host the Ballarat Swap Meet.

The Ballarat Swap Meet, to be held on February 25th & 26th, 2012 is the largest event of it's kind in Australia and has been a yearly fixture at the Ballarat Airport for more than 20 years.

The event attracts around 30,000 people and provides huge economic and social benefits to Ballarat.

President Elect of the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast, Andrew Rowan said the combined Rotary clubs in Ballarat were thrilled to be able to host the event which provided a major economic boost to the city.
