The community service committee organises projects and activities to improve life in the Ballarat community.

Some of the projects initiated by this committee include:

• The Blood Donation Challenge - held between the Ballarat Rotary Clubs between October and December each year
• The Annual Smoke Detector Battery changing service - for elderly residents, conducted in March each year
• Regular maintenance of the Nerrina Wetlands in Ballarat
